A fantastic long teak sideboard with tambour doors, made in the 1960s.


Large sideboard, of a really high quality in both construction and materials used. The carcass of the sideboard is teak veneered and has been rebated together; it has a solid teak moulded front that is mitred together. The moulded front is echoed in the moulded, solid rosewood handles on the tambour doors. The doors are veneered in teak, and pull back to reveal four cupboards, three with shelves, and one with slides (shallow drawers). The slides have rosewood veneer on plywood bottoms, with solid rosewood drawer sides, and sweeping curved fronts. The shelves are rosewood veneer on particle board. The whole piece is raised on solid teak legs.


This item is currently unrestored, and will be restored for our stated price. Sideboard can be sold unrestored for £3,500.

Whilst this piece is in great condition, it is vintage, and as such has patination commensurate with its age.
