Simple, stylish, Rosewood sideboard, with a cupboard, and two drawers. Made in Denmark, 1970s.


The sideboard body and top are rosewood veneer on engineered, particle board, with a solid rosewood, bevelled, profile, around the double doors and drawers at the front of the frame. The doors are rosewood veneered engineered board, with a rosewood balancing veneer; they are divided by a solid rosewood rail. The doors have magnetic catches (a feature of many pieces of furniture made in the 1970s) and open to reveal two separate cupboards, each with one internal shelf; the interior and shelves are all veneered in oak. The two drawers sit above the cupboards; they have rosewood veneered fronts, machine dovetailed, oak lined sides, and are baize lined. The cupboards and drawers all feature solid rosewood, splayed handles, inlaid with aluminium lines.The whole piece sits on a rosewood veneered plinth.

Whilst this piece is in great condition, it is vintage, and as such has patination commensurate with its age.
