THE G PLAN STORY

The furniture that rebuilt Britain.

G Plan has a fine heritage and the Eleanor, from their G Plan range, is one more lovely piece of their stylish jigsaw. They can proudly trace their origins back to 1898, when Ebenezer Gomme began handcrafting beautiful furniture in his workshop. In 1953, his grandson Donald launched the G Plan brand and with it a post-war furniture revolution, as he took the then radical step of selling sofas without matching chairs. Over the years G Plan has created some of the most enduring and iconic furniture of the 20th century; something that we still aim for with every piece we design today.

The Eleanor G Plan Range was added to their collection in 2019 and is as comfy and super stylish as all its stablemates.
