Oscar Crawford works in the oddly-matched fields of furniture restoration, production sound mixing and post-production sound. He grew up above After Noah and began to learn the family-trade of furniture repair, in between studying Modern Languages at the University of Nottingham; comparative experiences of the two made him realise that he’d much rather be working with his hands. He now splits his time between the workshop, being on set and editing several podcasts - in the rest of his free time, he has started to explore other creative avenues through photography and painting, and finds inspiration in films, video games and galleries. In recent years, he’s been particularly inspired by the paintings of Alice Neel, Vanessa Bell and Cézanne. Since he was little, he has also been inspired by the work of his mother, with whom he often shares time painting in the studio.
