Erik Kirkegaard is a furniture designer, who worked within the Danish Modern style, in 1950s and 1960s Denmark.

Kirkegaard is known for his minimalist, elegant chair designs, in the style emblematic of the Danish Modern movement. His chairs often feature a-frame legs, cow-horn armrests and glossy black leather seats and back rests. Kirkegaard is also known for designing light, elegant, and comfortable rattan furniture, which became very popular in the 1960s and 1970s.

Erik Kirkegaard designed predominately for the chair manufacturer Høng Stolefabrik, located on the Danish island of Zealand, as well as for Glostrup Møbelfabrik, a manufacturer that also produced furniture for designers such as Grete Jalk and Arne Vodder. He won several awards for his design work, including the prize for best lounge chair at the Milan International Furniture Fair in 1960.
