Model 75 Desk in rosewood, designed by architect Gunni Omann, produced by his family owned company Omann Jun, in Denmark, 1960s.

A stunning pedestal desk, with a finished back, and a 'floating' desk top. The desk top is rosewood veneered, with a solid rosewood, mitred edge, and is elevated above the pedestals by the sculptural, shaped, legs. The A-frame legs are made of solid rosewood and have stretchers strengthening each side. The pedestal bodies are rosewood veneered, with a solid rosewood bevelled front; they both feature three drawers, of which, each top drawer is lockable. The drawer fronts are rosewood veneer on solid beech, with a balancing rosewood veneer. Drawers have machine dovetail joints, solid beech sides, birch veneered plywood bottoms, and feature a solid rosewood top edge, that forms a moulded handle. The back of the desk is stylishly finished with rosewood veneered shelves and a cupboard with a fall front door, allowing it to be freestanding.

Whilst this piece is in great condition, it is vintage, and as such has patination commensurate with its age.
