Rosewood sewing table on castors, with two drawers. Made in Denmark in the 1960s.


The top and main body of the table is rosewood veneer on engineered particle board, finished with a solid rosewood, moulded edge. The top drawer has a rosewood veneer, on laminate mahogany, front, with a linear handle running across its full width. It has laminate mahogany sides, and back, with a painted hardboard bottom; and mahogany divisions, for organising your sewing kit. The lower drawer is a wicker basket, enclosed in a pine frame with a solid rosewood lip; the basket can lift out of its frame. The whole piece is suspended on turned, tapering, mahogany legs, finished with brass castors and acrylic wheels.


Table has been revived in our restoration workshop.

Whilst this piece is in great condition, it is vintage, and as such has patination commensurate with its age.
