Model 75 Desk in teak, designed by architect Gunni Omann, produced by his family owned company Omann Jun, in Denmark, 1960s.

A stunning pedestal desk, with a finished back, and a 'floating' desk top. The desk top is teak veneered, with a solid teak, mitred edge, and is elevated above the pedestals by the sculptural, shaped, legs. The A-frame legs are made of solid teak and have stretchers strengthening each side. The pedestal bodies are teak veneered, with a solid teak bevelled front; they both feature three drawers, of which, each top drawer is lockable. The drawer fronts are teak veneer on solid beech, with a balancing teak veneer. Drawers have machine dovetail joints, solid beech sides, birch veneered plywood bottoms, and feature a solid teak top edge, that forms a moulded handle. The back of the desk is stylishly finished with teak veneered shelves and a cupboard with a fall front door, allowing it to be freestanding.

Desk has been revived in our restoration workshop.

Whilst this piece is in great condition, it is vintage, and as such has patination commensurate with its age. We have worked to disguise an old cigarette burn on the desk's top as best we can, but there is still some evidence of it.
