Compact, teak veneered, sideboard with two wide, and two small drawers. Made by Avalon, in Yatton, Somerset in the mid-twentieth century.

The sideboard top and body is teak veneer on engineered board. The drawer fronts are teak veneer, with a balancing veneer on the back, and feature solid afromosia, moulded, applied details that incorporate recessed finger pulls. The drawers have mahogany liners, and ply bottoms. The whole piece sits on tapering, organic, triangular legs, made from solid beech, presented in their natural colour, offering a contrast to the teak of the body.

The sideboard has been revived in our restoration workshop.

Whilst this piece is in great condition, it is vintage, and as such has patination commensurate with its age.
